Fitbit needed a new story to tell. They were only known as a step counter, a fitness gadget. So we created multiple campaigns to show what Fitbit was really about like; voice commands with Amazon’s Alexa, sensors to measure stress, and monitor your heart—it can even track illness. We changed customers perceptions, and made it clear that Fitbit was more than just a fitness gadget. It’s a device that tracks all aspects of your health all in one place, making you healthier, not just fitter.
After winning the pitch we successfully launched three separate generations of Fitbit devices in three extensive global marketing campaigns spanning 27 countries. Over a 2 year span the campaign’s succeeded in increasing Fitbit’s revenue by +28% YOY with a +225% ROAS. A few highlights from the different campaigns below.
